The capsules on this website and the accompanying activities are the result of a four-year project to create pedagogical material using a 360° technology to capture the action and surrounding images thus providing realistic views and opportunities for vocabulary and language development.
The ideal way to view the capsules is with a VR headset, but with this site, learners can scroll around the images on a laptop, tablet, or smart phone.
Each page has a variety of activities including vocabulary, grammar, the capsule itself, reading, writing, and speaking.
The interactive activities include the answer keys so learners can measure their progress.
The capsules have been created with lower-level ESL language learners in mind but provide a good challenge for anyone hoping to improve their English.
The grammar explanations are meant to complement more complete teacher-led explanations. They are a reinforcement rather than a complete lesson.
